Travelling isn’t always fun, but you just do it due to several reasons, few known and few unknown. Traveling costs, time, and is labor-intensive, as an outcome of this, you do create few memories. The moment lockdown was eased out, borders were open and we had the right opportunity, we went to Binsar. The right opportunity because on the date, each year, the very next day of Shaurya’s birthday, we step out to see and create few memories for him. Why Binsar? I have been there in 2016, it was a solo ride, didn’t see much, and was back home in 48 hrs but the calmness and region always attracted…

Travel plans and favorite quotes, what do we now? Bring it back
Wondering what happened to people who used to post inspirational travel-related quotes at the drop of hat, it’s not sarcasm, I too have done it. The human being is the most adaptive species, can live in 1*1 sq. ft. space if a need arises and that’s why we have survived through ages. This quote from Lao Tzu in today’s context, where do you find yourself? 🙂 “A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.” If you have no fixed plans, you will be quarantined for ages by different states, depending on your time of arrival and where you are going. And, if you don’t intend…

Kedarnath- Pilgrimage, beyond the pain lies the divinity
I was on Kedarnath pilgrimage last week and truly blessed to have a darshan of Kedarnath Jee, it was a moment of a lifetime. Truly awestruck with the beauty of place and divinity. This was the moment of where I connected with my spiritual self, under the clear sky, Lord Shiva was standing tall, protecting us and the mighty God will protect me as well. The whole experience was exhilarating, I did the trek in approx. 8 hrs and nowhere felt tired, probably it was the responsibility of getting Shaurya safely or the call from my god. While the visit will be an everlasting memory, I would always regret not…

Photo Story – Six Hours on the Streets of New York
During one of the recent trips, I had my connecting flight from Newark airport to Delhi was at 10 PM and l landed around 9 AM so with almost 12 hrs to use, I took a walk on the streets of NYC. It took a while for me figure how to get it done, with lots of effort from fellow colleagues, everything was put in place, just in time. My airline wont take baggage before six hours of check-in and I couldn’t imagine carrying it outside the airport and roam through the streets with the heavy luggae, would have been nightmare/punishment. After enquiring few fellow passenger and airport staff, saw…
