Being discipline isn’t a state of mind, it’s a habit. We are not disciplined in so many ways, we often criticize ourselves for failure, unable to manage our state of affairs and we blame it on not being disciplined and this includes me as well.
It’s easier to write about it than make it happen. The question is, why should we worry about being disciplined, our life is full of perfection and imperfections, don’t harp on chasing a behavior. It’s easier for us to live our life with simplicity, focus on what’s required and what’s not, what’s important and what’s not. Simplify the process and will develop the habit rather than searching for the state of mind.
Reading is the best technique to learn and grow, are you struggling to develop this habit because I am, its been a while I have managed to finish a book. I have started to break these problems into smaller ones, read one page a day, as simple as it’s. Try this and see if it works.
Festivals are around the corner and sales all around, deep discounts and combos being offered, don’t fall into this trap, buying a product of Rs 100, and getting a discount of Rs 10 is still an expense of Rs 90. Buy value, usage, not the discount.
“Habit is the intersection of knowledge (what to do), skill (how to do), and desire (want to do).”― Stephen R. Covey.”
